Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the HelpinPrep website and mock interview platform (the "Service"), operated by HelpInPrep ("we," "us," "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

HelpinPrep connects candidates seeking mock interview practice ("Candidates") with independent professionals ("Experts") who conduct live 1:1 mock interview sessions. We also offer a self-serve Interview Simulator tool that presents role-based questions and lets you record and review your spoken answers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. How Requests Work

1. You submit an interview request through our website, including your target role and contact details.
2. A member of our team will contact you by phone to confirm details and discuss payment.
3. Upon confirmation, you will receive an email with your interview meeting link.
4. After your session, we may contact you for feedback and to request you share your experience publicly (e.g., on LinkedIn), which is entirely optional.

4. Pricing and Payment

HelpinPrep operates on a "pay what feels right" model — you decide the amount you wish to pay for a session, including choosing to pay nothing. We reserve the right to change this pricing model at any time, with reasonable notice on our website.

All payments are processed through our third-party payment provider. We are not responsible for issues arising from the payment processor's systems.

5. Experts Are Independent

Experts on our platform are independent professionals, not employees of HelpinPrep. While we take reasonable steps to vet our Experts, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or outcome of any advice, feedback, or interview experience provided by an Expert. Mock interview sessions are for practice purposes only and do not guarantee any real interview or job outcome.

6. Interview Simulator

The Interview Simulator records your spoken answers locally in your browser for playback purposes. Suggested answers and related articles shown after a session are for educational reference only and may not reflect the only correct or ideal answer for a real interview.

Microphone access is required to use this feature. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use a microphone in your current environment.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in your interview request
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Harass, abuse, or misrepresent yourself to Experts or our team
• Record or distribute a live interview session without the consent of all participants

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, and the Interview Simulator's question sets, suggested answers, and articles — is owned by or licensed to HelpinPrep and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our permission.

Any recordings you make of your own answers remain accessible to you for personal review, but you may not use HelpinPrep's proprietary questions or suggested-answer content for any commercial purpose.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites (such as Experts' LinkedIn or X profiles). We do not control and are not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party sites.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any mock interview, feedback, or simulator content will guarantee improved performance in any real interview.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HelpinPrep and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any outcome of a real job interview.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
