Overview
A fresher describes the full TCS NQT 2026 journey for the Ninja role, from the test through two technical interviewers and an HR interviewer to selection. The interview mixed projects with core computer science and basic programming, so strong fundamentals mattered more than competitive programming.

NQT Online Test
Foundation and advanced sections covering verbal ability, reasoning, numerical ability, advanced quantitative aptitude and coding, with two coding problems. -

Technical Interview
Two interviewers asked about projects, deadlock and the conditions needed for it, database views, triggers, primary keys and indexes, a prime-number program and pointers. -

HR Interview
Self-introduction, family background and some OOP questions, plus a request to write a palindrome program.
Tips and takeaways
Revise programming, OOP, DBMS and SQL, and operating systems basics together, and be ready to explain every project on your resume. Practise small programs such as primes and palindromes without relying on an IDE.
